To Kill a Mocking Bird by Harper Lee
To Kill a Mockingbird is a Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Harper Lee published in 1960. It was instantly successful upon its release and it has since become a classic of modern American fiction.
To Kill a Mockingbird was made into a film in 1962. The film was directed by Robert Mulligan and stars Gregory Peck in the role of Atticus Finch. I think this is one of Gregory Pecks’ best ever roles. He was given the Oscar in 1963 for Best Actor in a Leading Role. In 2007, it was ranked twenty-fifth on the American Film Institute's 10th anniversary list of the greatest movies of all time.
